The purpose of my TV ident is to engage the audience and get them attracted to the tv channel. My ident is creative and will attract the viewers eyes as it will make them hungry seeing my quick recipe on making a lasagna. It also links with the foods and content of the channel.
My idea is to create a 60 second ident and two 30 second mini idents alongside it. The 60 second ident is a quick recipe on a lasagna and the finished product will have a slice where the Food Network logo pops up slowly and this would be shown at dinner time around 5pm-11pm. One of the 30 second idents will be shown during breakfast time which is around 7am-10am and that would be a sandwich that i make and either the cheese pull will have the logo or the when i open the top of the sandwich it will have the logo on it and my other 30 second ident would be having a lunch theme that will be shown during lunch time around 11am-4pm and the ident would be very light salad which would have all ingredients in a salad and also salt/pepper and salad sauce. The salad will be mixed and then the logo would appear.
My target audience for this ident would be people that love to cook and men and women aged 28-60. This is because they would cook for their family or for themselves. This ident would appeal to them because it is making a simple recipe of lasagna and it can be enjoyed because it is not that hard of a dish to make and it is an ident that you dont want to take your eyes off.
The medium for this ident is TV and will be shown on the channel.
I will be having one 60 second ident and then along with is two other 30 second idents.
